The Conference was open to specialists and the general public. It was organized by the:

•   Center for Rebuilding Sustainable Communities after Disasters of Univ. of Mass, Boston (CRSCAD)
•   Boston Architectural College
•   School of Architecture, Art and Historic Preservation of Roger Williams Univ., Rhode Island

Numerous presentations and panel discussions were organized around the theme of the Conference. William Spear’s subject was “Preventing PTSD in Children with Body-Centered Exercises after Natural Disasters”.
He was also a member of the “Response and Recovery Effort” panel.
